Al-Namouthajiya Islamic Microfinance signs a cooperation agreement with Doroob Motors

The Al-Namouthajiya Islamic Microfinance Company has signed a cooperation agreement with the Jordanian motorcycles company “Doroob Motors”. The agreement aims to finance scooters and motorcycles for its customers, as well as for individuals with limited income and owners of small and micro-enterprises through installments in accordance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia.

Dr. Tamer Al-Naylesi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, indicated that this agreement helps all segments of society, including individuals with limited income and owners of small and micro-enterprises, to acquire a scooter or motorcycle through installments. This works to serve local communities in the Kingdom and effectively helps in alleviating financial burdens on customers by using genuine Islamic financing formulas that take into account the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia, which effectively contributes to improving their standard of living and empowering them economically and socially.

Mr. Ashraf Al-Fakhoury, Deputy General Manager of the Jordanian motorcycles company “Doroob Motors”, stated that this agreement aims to find financing solutions for individuals to acquire motorcycles and scooters for work purposes in the delivery sector. As the Al-Namouthajiya Company aims to facilitate financing procedures to expand this sector and create job opportunities for young people to improve the standard of living and advance this vital sector.

“Doroob Motors” was established in 2006 and is the agent for Vespa, Aprilia, Piaggio, and Moto Guzzi for Italian motorcycles and scooters, as well as KTM motorcycles from Austria.

It is worth noting that the Al-Namouthajiya Islamic Microfinance Company was established in 2013 as a non-profit limited liability company owned by the Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human Development and was placed under the umbrella of the Central Bank of Jordan in 2018. It specializes in financing and supporting individuals with limited income and small and micro-enterprises by providing financing products that are compatible with the provisions of Islamic Sharia.
