Believing in the pivotal role of the microfinance sector in achieving the strategy of financial inclusion, human development, and economic growth, and with the support of the Central Bank of Jordan for initiatives aimed at developing a sustainable microfinance industry in the Kingdom and improving service channels for customers of financial institutions and enabling customers to deal with the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, a capacity-building project for microfinance sector customers was launched under an initiative by the Central Bank of Jordan, with the participation of all microfinance companies and in cooperation with the development of the “Microfinance Institutions Network” in Jordan, which includes publishing educational materials that contribute to enhancing the level of financial awareness among sector customers.
